gibby2Gibby McCaleb comes to the Eden center for Youth Empowerment with many years of entrepreneurial experience and several startup companies.   Mr. McCaleb is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of AccuScore and is responsible for managing the company’s internal operations, product concepts and creation, managing AccuScore’s off-shore development group, as well as managing all B2B relationships; including strategy, products, development and implementation. 


Gibby McCaleb comes to the Eden center for Youth Empowerment with many years of entrepreneurial experience and several startup companies.   Mr. McCaleb is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of AccuScore and is responsible for managing the company’s internal operations, product concepts and creation, managing AccuScore’s off-shore development group, as well as managing all B2B relationships; including strategy, products, development and implementation.

Mr. McCaleb has more than 20 years of experience in business management, including the supervision of extensive operational, project and client affairs.  As a technology consultant, Mr. McCaleb has provided services for companies such as TransAmerica, Pinnacle, the Government of Dubai, O’Melvany and Myers, Sun Microsystems, Forest Lawn, University Access, Nsyght and numerous others.

Prior to founding AccuScore, Mr. McCaleb was the founder and CEO of Covert Group, a high-end software consulting and systems Integration Company whose clients included Oracle and ATG.  Mr. McCaleb developed all corporate procedures, implemented sales and technology strategies and managed client interaction. Prior to Covert Group, he served as the Director of Internet Technology for Quisic, where he was responsible for all development, including a 3.5 million dollar annual budget, negotiating external vendor contracts and relationships, and web infrastructure.

gibby-iraq1Of his many professional accomplishments, Mr. McCaleb is most proud of the company he founded during the war with Iraq in May of 2003.  The company, TigrisNet, created Iraq’s first Internet Service Provider (ISP) and provides internet connectivity and VoIP services throughout the country.  He oversaw the planning and execution of all aspects of the company, including the hiring of local resources, office selection and build-out, satellite installation, network infrastructure, a complex point-to-point microwave network to serve the entire city of Baghdad and all business strategy and budgeting. TigrisNet has expanded rapidly, currently providing internet and VoIP services to 16 cities in Iraq on gross profits of over three million USD per month.  Though no longer actively involved in company operations, Mr. McCaleb remains a minority shareholder in and a technical advisor to TigrisNet.

In addition to his role at AccuScore, Mr. McCaleb is a minority stakeholder and sits on the board of directors for a few select internet-based companies; lending his business acumen and technical expertise.
